This large-scale colourful mural is a celebration of the strength of the women in Brent. The main goal of the project was to create a bold and eye catching public realm artwork that would empower all women in the local community.
I was commissioned by Artist in Residence on behalf of Brent Council to design and paint the 6 meter tall mural that is located on Wembley High Road, just 5 minutes from the iconic Wembley stadium.
Given the height of the mural and the structure below, a suitable access solution was required to carry out the painting installation. I spent a sunny week up on the scaffolding platforms, painting above the buzz of the city below.
