Following a successful mural project with Southampton Hospitals Charity for their new staff wellbeing hub, I was invited to be their commissioned artist for the Light The South sculpture trail.
The graphic elements in the design are inspired by maritime themes, with visual references to waves, tides, ships, and even the revolutionary Fresnel lens used in lighthouses.
The playful lettering, “Shine Bright & Light The Way,” ties into the lighthouse theme while also delivering an empowering and optimistic message of strength, individuality, and kindness.
