After the success of the mural project for The Climbing Hangar (Southampton), I was invited back to create more murals for TCH’s new Bristol site.
This was the smaller of the pieces for the Bristol gym, designed as bold, highly visible wayfinding to help guide climbers through the vast bouldering space. A fun part of the process was designing the artwork to work seamlessly with the physical neon arrow installed on the wall, creating a tactile quality to the piece.
Huge thanks to Kay Bain for her art direction and relaxed approach to the brief, it’s always a pleasure to be given so much creative freedom on a project.
